Hungry for Change is a campaign that actively raises awareness of all Eating Disorders, and aims to stamp out the stigma attached to the illness. The campaign is run by Hannah Rushbrooke, Sophie Lowe, Rebekah Fleming and Jolene Dillon. Having all suffered from eating disorders themselves, they are all incredibly passionate about the cause.
When talking about Eating Disorders, very often people assume that it is simply just Anorexia and Bulimia that they're talking about. However, there are many more Eating Disorders that go unnoticed. We want to change this and highlight to the public the Eating Disorders that aren't spoken about enough. As well as this, we are adamant for the portrayal of Eating Disorders to change. They are not a 'faddy diet gone wrong', they are a mental illness. If you, or someone you know is suffering from an Eating Disorder...please seek help as soon as possible. Beat (National Eating Disorders Association) provide many ways in which you can do this.
